 PAID TIME OFF – including:

MEDICAL– Comprehensive PPO Plan with Traditional Plan available for those who live outside of a network area.   Plans pay 70% of charges for most services after the annual deductible is met.  Employee pays 20% of monthly premium.

DENTAL – Traditional Plan covering preventive treatment at 100%, other services at 90% and orthodontia at 50% up to annual maximums.  Employee pays 20% of monthly premium.

VISION – Available for purchase through Vision Benefits of America.

FLEXIBLE SPENDING ACCOUNTS – Healthcare premiums are deducted from pay on a pre-tax basis using the Pre-Tax Premium feature.  Employee may elect to contribute to HealthCare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts.  These deductions are taken pre-tax.  Employees submit claims and are reimbursed for non-covered healthcare and/or dependent care expenses.

LIFE INSURANCE – Company provided Basic Life in the amount of $50,000.  Option to purchase additional insurance up to 4 times the base amount at group rates.  Dependent Life and Accident Insurance  available for purchase at group rates as well.

SHORT-TERM DISABILITY (CDIP) – Company paid coverage for up to 26 weeks for employees unable to work due to injury or illness that occurs off-the job.  The amount of pay is based on length of service with Sentinel. 

LONG-TERM DISABILITY – Available for purchase at group rates through AIG Life Insurance Company.

THRIFT/401(k) – Employees may contribute to their Thrift Plan account on a pre-tax basis through payroll deduction.  Sentinel will match 100% of the first 6% that an employee contributes. There is a wide range of investment options from which to choose.

RETIREMENT SAVINGS – Each employee may be eligible to receive a Company contribution to their retirement savings account of 6% of their annual gross earnings.  The contribution is made once a year.
